The rest of the league will want that one back. Turner Corcoran tumbling to the Packers in Round 7, Pick 20 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They will answer for taking safety early while quarterback, tight end and other spots went begging.

They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.

Pick-by-Pick

R1.19 · Pick 19 · Jared Verse · DE-EDGE · rank 15
In the 19th pick they get a problem off the edge at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
R2.14 · Pick 46 · Troy Fautanu · OT · rank 34
A quiet steal in pick No. 46: Troy Fautanu for less than the market said. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
R2.21 · Pick 53 · Xavier Legette · WR · rank 42
Nice patience on Xavier Legette, who had no business lasting to No. 53. A need, and now a little less of one.
R3.19 · Pick 83 · Javon Bullard · S · rank 65
They barely believed it either: Javon Bullard still on the board at the 83rd overall pick. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
R3.29 · Pick 92 · Zak Zinter · OG · rank 95
A straight-up fair deal on Zak Zinter at Round 3, Pick 29, value and slot in agreement. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
R4.19 · Pick 119 · Kris Abrams-Draine · CB · rank 120
No drama and no debate, Kris Abrams-Draine went about where he belonged in pick 119. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
R4.27 · Pick 127 · Isaiah Adams · OT · rank 122
Isaiah Adams at the Round 4 slot is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
R4.35 · Pick 135 · Jahdae Barron · S · rank 118
Hard to square with the roster. With positions of obvious need still on the board, Jahdae Barron adds a safety and leaves quarterback, tight end and other spots untouched.
R5.17 · Pick 153 · Jaylan Ford · LB · rank 151
Jaylan Ford at pick 153 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
R6.22 · Pick 197 · Jase McClellan · RB · rank 197
Jase McClellan in Round 6, Pick 22 is fair value, right on his grade. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
R6.42 · Pick 217 · Isaiah Davis · RB · rank 216
No edge and no loss on Isaiah Davis in pick No. 217; it is a wash and a sensible one. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
R6.44 · Pick 219 · De'Corian Clark · WR · rank 193
They will replay De'Corian Clark at slot 219 for years; that is how good the value is. The roster fit checks out.
R7.20 · Pick 240 · Turner Corcoran · OT · rank 207
Turner Corcoran in No. 240 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
