Priorities are a choice, and the Dolphins made a strange one, taking Cade Stover at TE-EDGE in slot 91 with wide receiver, interior defensive lineman and other spots crying out for the pick instead.
That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They banked enough surplus on Guyton to cover a lot of smaller sins.
The Leary pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 25 they get juice off the edge, outstanding value to boot. The biggest hole, addressed.
Tyler Guyton at the 53rd overall pick is money in the bank, a offensive lineman taken below his worth. A need, and now a little less of one.

Jordan Magee in pick 186 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Myles Jones in slot 199 is fair value, right on his grade. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Sheridan Jones at the Round 6 slot is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. Insurance at a position that did not really ask for it.
Devin Leary in pick No. 242 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
