The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Browns spent their marquee pick on Cam Ward, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. That Johnson pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
