When a board-topper like Malaki Starks slides to the Round 2 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Cardinals did not. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. The Membou pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 16 they get protection for the quarterback, even if it was a touch early. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Malaki Starks in Round 2, Pick 15 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
