Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs let Solomon fall into their laps, and walked away with a B+.
Somebody in No. 159 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Chiefs sat still while Javon Solomon, the No. 115 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.
That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.
They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
