Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Cowboys spent the 133rd pick on Jordan Jefferson, a name the board had a full 48 spots lower. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

The Walker pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
