They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Shedeur Sanders is the Cowboys' quarterback, full stop. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with wide receiver the one box left unchecked.
