The Cowboys spent the pick that matters most on Michael Penix Jr., and a roster that has been waiting on a passer can start to take shape.
The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Keegan steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The wide receiver spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
Adding Nick Bolton by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies.
Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
