Whoever sat across the table from the Raiders should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

Hall has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Washington.

The veteran additions, Pete Werner chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
