The Patriots went off the board in a big way for Wesley Williams, 56 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. The bottom line is a respectable B-.

However the rest shakes out, Hurst at that price is a win they earned. They punted on safety, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
