Call it larceny. Emmanuel McNeil-Warren sat on the board until pick No. 85, and the Steelers did not need to be asked twice. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.
They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Every board in the league had Spears-Jennings lower, and that gap is the story. The dealing tilted against them, just enough to notice.
Safety is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 31 they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker, outstanding value to boot.
