The Bills spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Germie Bernard, the No. 58 name on the board, in pick 91. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

A whole weekend of picks and linebacker is somehow still a want. The cost of the Miller reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
