For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Giants walked out of the weekend still thin at interior defensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.
Every board in the league had Faulk lower, and that gap is the story. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 2 of 9 of the wish list covered.
Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
