The Jaguars bet big and early on Dani Dennis-Sutton, 27 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. A mixed bag that lands at C+.
That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

If Dani Dennis-Sutton and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.

Dani Dennis-Sutton at No. 56 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
A reach for Ja'Kobi Lane in Round 3, Pick 17; a little patience would have been rewarded. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They paid sticker price for Sam Hecht in the 88th overall pick, and that is fine. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
No edge and no loss on Bud Clark in pick No. 100; it is a wash and a sensible one. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
