There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Packers started one anyway for Braelon Allen, 44 picks ahead of schedule. It nets out a thoroughly average C.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. With quarterback, tight end and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on DT-EDGE is the choice that costs them.
