If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Reaching for Bryant left real value on the table behind him.
Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Tetairoa McMillan in No. 12 is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Omarion Hampton at the 44th overall pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
A top-tier linebacker at a bargain, Jalon Walker in the Round 3 slot, plain and simple. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Deontae Lawson in the 148th pick is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Cobee Bryant in slot 168 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
They will replay Mason Taylor at Round 5, Pick 33 for years; that is how good the value is. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Steal is underselling it; Jake Majors at pick 173 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
No edge and no loss on Nazir Stackhouse in pick No. 186; it is a wash and a sensible one. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
