They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Giants' quarterback, full stop.
The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. They punted on interior defensive lineman, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
If one pick saves this weekend, it is Polk.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the interior defensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick-by-Pick
In No. 6 they get a franchise quarterback. A real need, handled.
Tyler Nubin in the 39th overall pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Fair-plus on T.J. Tampa, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. A need, and now a little less of one.
A slide stopped in the 70th pick, with Ja'Lynn Polk worth more than the price. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Zak Zinter at slot 107. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
