Nobody had Deven Eastern this high, and it is not close. The Cowboys reached 61 spots to get him at the 218th pick. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.
Washington Jr. at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. Leaving cornerback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
Peter Woods at the Round 1 slot is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
A reach on CJ Allen in pick 20; the board had better options right there. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
