There is conviction, and then there is this. The Cardinals took Jalen Milroe a full 54 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. For now it grades a C+, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 4 of 8 of the wish list covered.
