You can draft well and still miss the point. The Cardinals did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to quarterback, which was the need that mattered most. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.
The cost of the Simmons reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Job largely done: offensive lineman settled and 1 of 8 of the wish list covered.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
