The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. The Lawrence pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with offensive lineman, quarterback and other spots still on the board. That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Leaving offensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
