The Cowboys bet big and early on Kaleb Elarms-Orr, 66 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Golday pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at quarterback, running back and other spots.

That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They banked enough surplus on Coleman Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
