The Cowboys did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Roc Taylor fell into pick 249.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through offensive lineman.
Reaching for Farmer left real value on the table behind him. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.
If Mykel Williams and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
