The Commanders went off the board in a big way for Gavin Bartholomew, 56 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. A dependable weekend that grades out a B+.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. With cornerback, edge rusher and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on defensive back is the choice that costs them.

For all the activity, cornerback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
