They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Jayden Daniels is the Commanders' quarterback, full stop.
On value alone, Lovett makes the weekend a net positive. If Wilson pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. The running back hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but running back.

Quietly one of the better values of the day, James Williams at Round 5, Pick 3. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
They barely believed it either: Javon Foster still on the board at the 152nd overall pick. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Fabien Lovett at the 222nd pick is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
