Nobody had Amarius Mims this high, and it is not close. The Commanders reached 66 spots to get him at No. 17.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Cowing. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

Spending an early pick on linebacker with edge rusher and interior defensive lineman open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
