There is reaching, and then there is Brant Kuithe at the 228th overall pick. The Commanders jumped the board by 54 and dared it to prove them wrong.

That is an edge rusher worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

If Olumuyiwa Fashanu and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
