Thirty-one other rooms let Harold Fannin Jr. slide, and the Chiefs were the ones holding the card at the 64th pick. Highway robbery. The bottom line is a respectable B.
That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Conner reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Value over need was the throughline, for better and worse.
Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.

Harold Fannin Jr. in No. 64 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Xavier Restrepo at the 66th pick is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
