Thirty-one other rooms let Amarius Mims slide, and the Patriots were the ones holding the card at pick No. 68. Highway robbery. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. The interior defensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer.
Reaching for Robinson left real value on the table behind him.
Good work on the whole, with interior defensive lineman the one box left unchecked.

They went early on J.J. McCarthy in the 34th pick, and the value did not follow. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
