The Patriots treated their own grade as gospel and everyone else's as noise, spending pick 80 on LT Overton a full 80 spots early.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. On value alone, Walker makes the weekend a net positive.

The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
