The Patriots did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Garrett Nussmeier fell into pick No. 194. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.

The phones were where this weekend was really won. The Patriots clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

In the end it comes back to Malaki Starks, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
