There is reaching, and then there is Lorenzo Styles Jr. at the Round 7 slot. The Patriots jumped the board by 188 and dared it to prove them wrong.

The Gillotte value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

With quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Malaki Starks and all.
