The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Jarrian Jones, the Round 7 slot, roughly 95 picks past where he belonged. Good, not great, and the B says as much.
If Vidal pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
