The Packers torched the value chart for Cedric Johnson, taking him 53 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. No fireworks, but a solid B.
That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.
Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.
A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 25 they get a weapon on the perimeter at a price that makes it sweeter. A clean fit for the roster.
A slide stopped in No. 36, with Terrion Arnold worth more than the price. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
