The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Dominic Zvada, the 238th pick, roughly 143 picks past where he belonged. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
Reaching for Johnson left real value on the table behind him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

In the 14th pick they get an anchor for the offensive line, though the board says they badly overpaid.
No drama and no debate, Matthew Golden went about where he belonged in pick No. 38. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
A conviction pick on Trey Amos at slot 45 that the board grades a round light. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
