Somewhere a scout is still blinking. The Seahawks spent pick No. 188 on Patrick Payton, a name the board had a full 68 spots lower. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.
On value alone, Corleone makes the weekend a net positive. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped wide receiver, which is a strange place to end up.
Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
Pick-by-Pick
Dillon Thieneman at pick No. 41 is the sort of value that quietly wins a weekend. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Jadarian Price in slot 64 lands just on the right side of the ledger. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Connor Lew is a better player than Round 3, Pick 32 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
