The Patriots did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and TreVeyon Henderson fell into the 143rd overall pick.

Reaching for Kendall left real value on the table behind him. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Bottom line, they left the weekend a clearly better team, and they earned every bit of it.
