The Chiefs bet big and early on Roman Hemby, 62 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right.
They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. The Delane pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.

In slot 32 they get a weapon on the perimeter. The biggest hole, addressed.
