The Marshel Martin pick is the one that will follow the Dolphins into the fall. They took him 150 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.
If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through wide receiver. Quarterback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
Pick-by-Pick
In slot 21 they get a premier pass rusher at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
By-the-book stuff, Christian Haynes at the Round 2 slot squarely in line with his ranking. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Drake Nugent at pick No. 157 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Marshel Martin this early at Round 6, Pick 11. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Matthew Jones in the 200th pick is a reach so steep the board needed a second look to believe it. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
