The Packers' one glaring miss is quarterback, a need they left exactly as they found it.
The All pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
Pick-by-Pick
In the 25th pick they get a potential shutdown corner. The biggest hole, addressed.
Jordan Morgan in the 41st overall pick lands just on the right side of the ledger. The roster fit checks out.
The board had Kris Jenkins higher than No. 58, and the edge rusher fell to them anyway. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
A clean, defensible pick in slot 88 with a little surplus value in Jaden Hicks. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Trey Benson at pick No. 91 is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Beaux Limmer in the Round 4 slot is fair value, right on his grade. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Malik Mustapha at pick 169 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A want dressed up as a pick, at a spot they had covered.
A reasonable price with a little left over, Curtis Jacobs in Round 6, Pick 27. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
A slide stopped in the Round 6 slot, with Erick All worth more than the price. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
