You could see the war room lean forward. Drew Allar at slot 205 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.
The cost of the Gill-Howard reach is exactly the players who went right after him. Leaving linebacker unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
Pick-by-Pick
Fair-plus on Spencer Fano, a quiet win that adds up over a draft. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
They paid up for LT Overton at pick 50 when waiting would have done the job. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
They reached a country mile for Skyler Gill-Howard at Round 4, Pick 28, and the board is aghast. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
