Whoever sat across the table from the Giants should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.
Getting Jordan where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. For all the activity, interior defensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain.
It is a haul that will look even better come September.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick 28 they get a building block for the line at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Ennis Rakestraw Jr. in the 60th overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
A tidy bit of business in No. 84, where Junior Colson graded well above the range. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Matt Goncalves in Round 4, Pick 7 is fair value, right on his grade. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Cole Bishop in the 145th pick is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.

A wide receiver of that caliber at Round 7, Pick 7 is the definition of value, full stop. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Jawhar Jordan in the Round 7 slot is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Kedon Slovis is a better player than No. 249 suggests; smart patience, rewarded. The roster fit checks out.
A slide stopped in pick No. 254, with Maurice Smith worth more than the price. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
