Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Cowboys never addressed wide receiver, and it is the kind of gap that lingers.

They will need Wingo to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
