The Dolphins spent real capital to be 58 picks early on Jack Pyburn, and the board is going to hold them to it. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Scott at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The Dolphins indulged a want in Scott while a need in quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but quarterback.
