Some picks age like wine; Cobee Bryant at No. 113 will need to, sitting 60 spots clear of his grade. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. That Bond pick is the receipt they will wave around later.
Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
Pick-by-Pick
In the Round 1 slot they get a plug-and-play piece up front at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Isaiah Bond slid further than he should have, and pick 47 is lovely value for the wide receiver. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
They left a pile of value on the table to take Kyle McCord this early at Round 3, Pick 14. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Cobee Bryant well ahead of where he belonged. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
