The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Skyler Bell, pick No. 121, roughly 33 picks past where he belonged. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.
The Davis pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at linebacker. Reaching for Barrett left real value on the table behind him.

In slot 26 they get a potential shutdown corner at fair value. A clean fit for the roster.
Nice patience on Emmanuel Pregnon, who had no business lasting to the 53rd overall pick. Useful body for a position without much behind the starter.
A top-tier wide receiver at a bargain, Germie Bernard in No. 76, plain and simple. The roster fit checks out.
The board fumbled Jake Golday all the way to the 85th pick, and they scooped it up. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Domonique Orange in pick No. 99 is the kind of fall that makes a whole class. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
They will replay Skyler Bell at Round 4, Pick 21 for years; that is how good the value is. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
