They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Quinn Ewers is the Cardinals' quarterback, full stop.
The Sanders steal is the beam this whole class leans on. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. The Everette reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.
Pick-by-Pick
In pick No. 18 they get their guy under center for the next decade, even if it was a touch early. The biggest hole, addressed.
Armand Membou slipping to Round 2, Pick 18 is the kind of luck good rooms make for themselves. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
They barely believed it either: T.J. Sanders still on the board at the Round 3 slot. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Rylie Mills in slot 119 is the kind of reach that only looks good if he outplays it. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
They talked themselves into Daylen Everette at the 155th pick, and the board did not agree. A minor need, but a need all the same.
