The Frank Crum pick is the one that will follow the Packers into the fall. They took him 40 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with cornerback the one that mattered most.

They bet on numbers rather than a single high pick.
