Nobody had Spencer Rattler this high, and it is not close. The Patriots reached 50 spots to get him at No. 68. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Daniel Bellinger deal gives the class an established piece to lean on. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 7 of 8 of the wish list covered.

The dealing nudged the ledger their way without much fuss.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
