The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Jared Wilson, pick No. 167, roughly 58 picks past where he belonged. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.
The Clark pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.
They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

Pick-by-Pick
In Round 1, Pick 25 they get an anchor for the defensive front at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
They stopped a slide they were happy to see, landing Isaiah Bond in the 62nd pick. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Good price on Mason Taylor in No. 89, a hair ahead of his grade with no real quibbles. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Cam Skattebo in the 127th overall pick is a gift, value that borders on unfair. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Jared Wilson at slot 167 is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
They barely believed it either: Logan Brown still on the board at pick No. 175. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
De'Corian Clark at the Round 7 slot is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
